The forthcoming initiative at 1726 Mission Street aims to repurpose a derelict building, shaping it into a versatile mixed-use venture encompassing 40 residences, street-level retail establishments, and a below-ground parking facility accommodating 27 vehicles.

The ground floor encompasses retail space that seamlessly connects to the building's lobby, while parking is thoughtfully positioned towards the back of the lot, away from the street. The building's architectural design features two-bedroom pod units situated at each of the four corners, with second bedrooms conveniently adjacent to light courts. Notably, one of these light courts aligns with the neighboring building's light court, creating a harmonious visual connection. Within the lower levels, the central area is occupied by four studio units with robust walls, and on the upper two levels, these units are seamlessly combined to form more spacious two-bedroom configurations.

This segment of Mission Street showcases a rich array of building styles and sizes. Just across the street stands a sizable brick ribbon window industrial building, coexisting with repair shops and bay window residential structures. The new building is thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the residential context of the street, employing materials that echo those found in other building types along the avenue.
