1481 Post

Tower poised to redefine Cathedral Hill's skyline. The proposed 1481 Post Street tower aims to soar to unprecedented heights, reaching a remarkable 416 feet, positioning itself as the highest point in Cathedral Hill. Renderings showcasing the view from Alamo Square exhibit the grandeur of this 36-story structure, which is set to introduce 262 new residential condominiums. Beyond the aesthetic impact, the project seeks to transform the neighborhood into a more pedestrian-friendly environment, achieved through ground-level amenities and revitalized streetscapes.

Open spaces will play a significant role, as integrated landscape plans illuminate the surroundings and contribute to an inviting and walkable atmosphere. Additionally, the design endeavors to replace the existing above-ground parking structure, constructing a vibrant corridor that connects California Pacific Medical Center's future location on Van Ness to Japantown on the opposite side. Enhancing pedestrian activity, the 1333 Gough building lobby entrance will be relocated to Post Street.
