He brings over ten years of experience in sales, marketing, negotiating and project management to each real estate opportunity …but it’s his calm demeanor and creative approach to each transaction that assures a smooth transaction.

FAVORITE PLACE IN THE CITY? I have a few since I’m always out and about – Philz in the Dogpatch, Home on Noriega, or Ilana’s Coffee on Clement.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN THE CITY: Taking the kids to the park – especially Mission Bay Kids’ Park or Alta Plaza Park.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY: I grew up in a working-class neighborhood in the Richmond (though my dad likes to joke it’s now a multi-million dollar neighborhood ☺).
My dad worked for over 30 years for a Fortune 500 oil company and my mom was an elementary school teacher, prior to retiring just a few years ago. I have one sibling, an older brother, who works for the city in the Department of Public Health.
I picked up the knack for touring open houses from my dad who used to take me nearly every weekend to see homes.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHANGE IN SAN FRANCISCO SINCE YOU WERE A CHILD? The city is constantly changing as far as new developments, new trends, and new hot spot neighborhoods. I think all cities evolve and change over time, so it’s up to us as citizens to take an active role in our communities and help shape what we’d like to see in the future.
WHY REAL ESTATE? I’ve always wanted to build a business in San Francisco and work directly with the community. I also grew up going to open houses every weekend, so I grew to love the various neighborhoods, architectural details, and diversity of the city.
SHARE YOUR THREE FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT REAL ESTATE:
Working with buyers … seeing their excitement in knowing that they’re able to move into the next chapter of their lives is something I’m grateful to be able to be a part of.
Working with sellers … especially in terms of strategically positioning and marketing their homes to create the biggest sales impact. Yes, sounds generic, but it’s true. You can take two houses on the same block – with the same layout – but the one best prepped for the market wins. I enjoy guiding the process of helping a seller understand the value of strategic marketing; the more I educate my seller the better results I achieve for my client …every time.
The homes and neighborhoods … I feel lucky to work in the city I grew up in and have the chance to be inside so many different homes across all neighborhoods. On any given week, I’m seeing between 25-30 homes, so the catalog of homes I’ve seen is thousands deep at this point.
BEST ADVICE FOR SOMEONE BUYING A HOME: Work with a realtor to put a plan together for how you will be successful in the San Francisco market. It’s a very competitive marketplace, and things move very quickly, so aligning yourself with a realtor (and team) that has your back is key.
BEST ADVICE FOR SOMEONE SELLING A HOME: Really consider how to best position your home against all other homes on the market to stand out and receive the best sale price possible. It’s not enough to put a home on the MLS and wait for offers to come in. A home needs to be properly prepped for market, photographed well, and marketed by the right agent to get the best result. This takes time so having a dedicated agent, who can effectively navigate each step of the way, will yield the best ROI.
