Alexander Fromm Lurie

Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Alexander Fromm Lurie is ranked among the top 1% of Realtors in San Francisco and is Founder of The Lurie Group, a top producing, full-service real estate team committed to client care excellence and achieving record results.

Having overseen nearly 100 home negotiations in the last three years alone, Lurie consistently achieves record setting sales in the shortest period of time. While Lurie has brokered several sales above $10M (such as his 2018 off-market sale of 3020 Pacific for $16.5M), the bulk of his focus is between $2M to $6M. Lurie consistently exceeds client expectations; his $5.995M sale of 2374-2376 Greenwich Street, for example, sold for $1M more than his client had paid just one year prior (representing a 20% gain in just one year) and his sale of 723 Foerster Street sold for 25% above seller expectations.

Lurie has a record of successfully selling homes requiring a special marketing effort; to sell 60 Russell Street in Russian Hill, a home that was permitted but not yet built, Lurie hired artists to render various spaces of the unbuilt home to give prospective buyers a visual understanding of the space. These renderings, coupled with drone photography, enabled Lurie to sell Russell quickly and at a premium. When Lurie represented the sale of 462-464 Filbert Street in Telegraph Hill, a property that had previously been unsuccessfully marketed for seven months by another agent, he made several strategic edits to the property, including its restaging. The result: the home sold in 15-days for $3,821,888, significantly above seller expectations.

Lurie’s background in both management consulting (Mercer Management Consulting / Oliver Wyman) and as founder of a marketing company that he sold, gives his clients an edge in negotiation strategy, valuation analysis, and home marketing.

Alexander is an active member of the San Francisco community. He supports The Tipping Point Community, The Fromm Institute, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties.

A graduate of Northwestern University, Lurie double majored in Communications and Political Science. For high school, Alexander attended The Thacher School in Ojai, California.

Baxter is originally from Boston but has planted his roots firmly in the Bay. He began his real estate career in Manhattan, NY. Prior to entering into real estate he managed world wide operations for a tech company in NYC and also worked in the film Industry in Los Angeles. He and his wife formed and run a non profit that builds art curriculum and playgrounds for children in underserved communities both locally and internationally.

Carey Nassano

Unlike a lot of agents, residential real estate sales was Carey Miller’s first career out of college. Miller had a fascination with real estate investments since his parents bought him a copy of Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and that fascination grew his senior year of college as he started thinking about a career. Miller picked up another book by Dirk Zeller titled “Your First Year in Real Estate” which talked-up the freedom and economic mobility of a real estate sales career. Miller was hooked, and as soon as he graduated from the University of Iowa with an English Literature degree and Business Administration minor, He felt he’d found a career that could deploy all of his studies as well as satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit. 

Miller started his residential real estate career as a licensed assistant to a top-producer with @properties, the #1 real estate firm in Chicago. He trained on new development marketing and residential resale brokerage in 2005. Miller managed team transactions and listings, implemented team marketing, and closed millions of his own personal sales volume. By 24, He was a team member with his own book of clients and sales.

In 2014 Miller came home to real estate sales with a small San Francisco brokerage which introduced him to commercial leasing and investment as well as residential sales. By 2016 he joined Compass and finally returned to his first passion, working with residential home buyers and sellers. Consisting of the metro area’s top producing agents, Compass partnered with 138 affiliate brokerages and 1350 offices in 46 countries worldwide. Eddie Valtierra

Operation and Marketing Manager

Eddie has been proud to call San Francisco home since 2006. He has over 14 years of experience in operations, marketing, project management, event planning and client care. His main professional experience has been in the non-profit world helping companies like Google, Salesforce, Levis, and Kaiser-Permanente execute their corporate social responsibility programs. In 2019, Eddie transitioned into real estate and has since been working with several top producing teams in San Francisco.

In December of 2019, he joined the Lurie Group to lead marketing and operations. Eddie loves working with clients, agents, vendors and administrative staff over the full course of real estate transactions. 

His friendly demeanor and task-oriented organizational skills are crucial to his role with the Lurie Group. The process of buying and selling a home is stressful for real estate clients, but his service helps to minimize that stress by keeping the process on-track and maintaining communication between all parties. He is currently studying for his real estate license so that he can provide a more well rounded service to our clients.

Zehra Ashary

Real Estate Agent 

Zehra has an incredible range of experience in the domestic and international real estate and housing industry, with proficiency in sales, rentals, building management, architecture, construction, and interior design. Zehra is a graduate of one of the top schools in architecture, Ball State University. 

Zehra came from the Midwest and fell in love with San Francisco’s scenic views and the nature that envelops it, but mostly she loves getting to know the city’s quirky “no-judgements” inhabitants.

In her relationships with her clients, she embodies integrity, compassion, and grace. Her goal is to build long-lasting relationships with all her clients by understanding their inspirations and dreams, focusing on helping them achieve them, and then negotiating to get everything that they desire and more. She gets a thrill out of negotiating and she’s great at it!

As a testament of her love of negotiating and fighting for her clients, she recounts one of her most memorable times she fought for a client. After nearly sixty days of escrow, a highly qualified client was about to lose his dream home because a lender was threatening to block the deal. Zehra stood up for her client, went directly to the headquarters of the bank and demanded to speak to the bank’s chief loan officer or else they would have to speak to his lawyers. Needless to say, the loan officer agreed to rush the process and they closed 5 days later. 

In her spare time, Zehra is an aspiring gym rat with the intentions of looking like Jane Fonda but her love for cheetos puffs keeps getting in the way.
